Terms & Conditions.
These Terms & Conditions explain the rules that apply when you access the Niyo website, communicate with us, enrol in a Niyo program, participate in learning activities, submit projects, attend eligible events or use other services made available by Niyo.
These terms form an agreement between you and Niyo.
References to “Niyo”, “we”, “us” or “our” in these Terms refer to Niyo operating the Niyo School of Future brand and related services.
“You” may refer to a website visitor, parent, guardian, student, participant, customer, school representative, partner or any other person using or interacting with our services, as applicable.
Because Niyo serves school-age students, enrolment or participation by a minor must be authorised by a parent or lawful guardian where required.
Acceptance of These Terms
By accessing the Niyo website, creating an account where applicable, submitting an enquiry, making a payment, enrolling in a program, participating in a Niyo activity or otherwise using our services, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and any policies expressly incorporated into them.
If you are accepting these Terms on behalf of a minor, organisation, school or other entity, you confirm that you have authority to do so.
If you do not agree with these Terms, you should not use the applicable Niyo service.
Eligibility, Students & Minors
Niyo programs may be designed for particular classes, age ranges or stages of learning. Eligibility requirements can vary between programs and cohorts.
Parent or Guardian Responsibility
Where a participant is below the age of legal majority, the parent or lawful guardian is responsible for reviewing the relevant program information and providing required permissions.
- Parents or guardians must provide accurate information during enrolment.
- They must ensure that the student is eligible for the selected program.
- They are responsible for informing Niyo of relevant changes that may affect participation.
- They should not complete assignments, projects or assessments on behalf of the student.
Niyo Services
Niyo is a future-readiness learning platform designed to help students build capabilities beyond conventional academic instruction.
Depending on the applicable program or cohort, services may include:
- structured learning sessions;
- weekly missions or practical activities;
- guided feedback;
- projects or capstones;
- digital learning resources;
- peer or community learning experiences;
- evaluations and project review;
- Expo eligibility where applicable;
- recognition or scholarship consideration where announced;
- parent or student communication;
- related events or learning opportunities.
The exact features of a program may vary by cohort, delivery format, location, age group and operational requirements.
Enrolment & Registration
Enrolment may be subject to seat availability, class eligibility, payment completion and any additional requirements communicated for the relevant cohort.
You agree to provide information that is accurate, complete and current.
- Niyo may request reasonable verification of student, parent or payment information.
- Enrolment is personal to the registered student unless Niyo expressly approves otherwise.
- Program access may not be transferred or resold without written approval.
- Cohort schedules, session timings or delivery formats may change for reasonable operational reasons.
Fees, Payments & Taxes
Program fees, payment schedules and applicable taxes will be communicated before or during enrolment.
By making a payment, you authorise the applicable payment provider to process the transaction.
- Fees may differ between programs, cohorts or promotional periods.
- A quoted fee applies only to the offer or cohort for which it was issued.
- Bank, card, gateway or third-party transaction charges may be governed by the relevant provider.
- Failed or incomplete payments do not constitute confirmed enrolment.
Refunds and Cancellations
Refunds, cancellations, cohort changes or transfer requests will be governed by the refund or cancellation policy communicated for the relevant program or transaction.
Where a separate Refund Policy is published, that policy forms part of these Terms.
Programs, Missions & Projects
Niyo programs may combine structured learning with practical missions and a later project or capstone phase.
The current Niyo learning path may include:
- Niyo Explorer for Classes 6–7;
- Niyo Innovator for Classes 8–10;
- Niyo Fellowship for Classes 11–12.
Program structure, curriculum, assignments, project requirements and evaluation methods may evolve as Niyo improves its learning model.
Student Ownership of Work
Students are expected to complete their own missions, reflections and project work. Parents, tutors, AI tools, external professionals or other persons should not substitute for the student's own thinking or effort.
Niyo may consider authenticity and student ownership when evaluating work.
Three-Month Review Period
Completion of a Niyo program or final project does not automatically mean that a student is immediately eligible for a Niyo Expo.
Where applicable, the student must first complete the program and required project or capstone, after which a three-month review period may apply.
During this period, program completion, project evidence, reflections, eligibility requirements or other applicable criteria may be reviewed.
Completing the review period forms part of the eligibility pathway but does not override any additional conditions announced for a particular Expo or scholarship cycle.
Niyo Expo, Summer Arc & Winter Arc
Niyo may organise two separate flagship Expo events during a year:
- Summer Arc, generally planned around April; and
- Winter Arc, generally planned around November.
These are separate events rather than two phases of one event.
Expo Eligibility
A student may become eligible for the next applicable Expo only after completing the required program, project and review process, together with any event-specific requirements.
If the student's review is not complete before an applicable Summer Arc cut-off, their next suitable opportunity may be the Winter Arc, subject to eligibility and capacity.
Likewise, if Winter Arc requirements cannot be met, participation may move to a later eligible event.
No Automatic Right to Participate
Program completion, project completion or the end of the review period does not by itself create an unconditional right to participate in a particular Expo.
Participation may depend on factors such as eligibility, deadlines, project readiness, event capacity, submission requirements and operational considerations.
Exact dates, locations, online or offline format, capacity, evaluator composition, participation rules and deadlines may be announced separately for each event.
Scholarships & Recognition
Niyo may offer competitive scholarships, recognition or distinctions from time to time.
Scholarship categories may include areas such as:
- Growth;
- Learning Excellence;
- Innovation;
- Leadership;
- Consistency; and
- Expo Distinction.
Scholarships Are Not Guaranteed
Enrolment in a Niyo program, program completion, project completion, review completion, shortlisting or Expo participation does not guarantee a scholarship.
Scholarships remain competitive and may be awarded according to criteria published for the relevant scholarship cycle.
Scholarship value, award type, recipient count, eligibility rules, evaluation process and timelines may vary by cohort or cycle.
Student & Community Conduct
Niyo aims to provide a respectful, age-appropriate and productive learning environment.
Students and other participants must not:
- bully, threaten, harass or humiliate others;
- use discriminatory, abusive or inappropriate language;
- impersonate another person;
- submit another person's work as their own;
- misuse student, staff or community information;
- disrupt learning sessions or events;
- attempt to bypass platform security;
- distribute harmful, unlawful or inappropriate material;
- misuse community features for unrelated commercial, promotional or social purposes.
Niyo may take proportionate action where conduct creates safety, learning, integrity or operational concerns.
Technology, Digital Tools & AI
Niyo may use digital platforms, online learning tools, communication systems and AI-enabled technologies as part of the student experience.
Responsible AI Use
Students may be introduced to responsible AI use where appropriate, but AI tools should support learning rather than replace the student's own reasoning or work.
Niyo may establish additional rules for AI-assisted work, attribution, originality, research or project submissions.
Students should not enter confidential, personally sensitive or unauthorised information into third-party AI services.
Niyo Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, Niyo owns or is authorised to use the intellectual property associated with its website and services.
This may include:
- curriculum structures;
- lesson materials;
- mission formats;
- worksheets and templates;
- videos and presentations;
- graphics and website design;
- logos and trademarks;
- program names;
- assessment methods;
- platform software and related content.
Unless expressly permitted, you may not copy, sell, republish, redistribute, license, reverse-engineer or commercially exploit Niyo materials.
Students may use materials provided to them for personal educational participation in the applicable Niyo program.
Student Projects & Submitted Work
Students generally retain ownership of the original work they create, subject to any third-party rights incorporated into that work.
By submitting work to Niyo, the student and parent or guardian permit Niyo to store, review and evaluate that work for purposes connected with program delivery, feedback, assessment, Expo eligibility, recognition or scholarship review.
Public Use of Student Work
Niyo should obtain any additional permission required before publicly using an identifiable student's photograph, video, project, testimonial or personal story for marketing or promotional purposes.
Students must ensure that project submissions do not unlawfully copy third-party content, images, software, music, text or other protected materials.
Privacy & Personal Information
Niyo may collect personal information necessary to provide its website, programs, support, events and related services.
This can include information provided during enquiries, enrolment, payments, applications, program participation, projects, support interactions or events.
Our handling of personal information should also be read together with the applicable Niyo Privacy Policy.
Because Niyo serves minors, parents or guardians may be required to provide consent or information for particular processing activities where applicable.
Third-Party Platforms & Services
Niyo may use third-party services for areas such as payments, video conferencing, communications, cloud hosting, analytics, forms, email or other operational functions.
Use of those services may also be subject to the relevant provider's terms and privacy practices.
Niyo is not responsible for independent third-party services outside its reasonable control, except to the extent responsibility cannot legally be excluded.
Educational Outcomes & Disclaimers
Niyo provides educational and developmental learning experiences. Individual outcomes depend on many factors, including participation, effort, context, age, consistency and application of learning.
Unless expressly stated in a separate written agreement, Niyo does not guarantee:
- particular school examination marks;

- employment, internships or career placement;

- receipt of a scholarship;
- competition awards;
- specific personal-development outcomes.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Niyo will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses arising from use of the website or services.
This includes loss caused by circumstances reasonably outside Niyo's control, such as internet outages, third-party platform failures, force majeure events or unauthorised conduct by other users.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable law.
Suspension or Termination of Access
Niyo may restrict, suspend or terminate access to a service where reasonably necessary, including where there is:
- serious or repeated violation of these Terms;
- abusive or unsafe conduct;
- fraud or misrepresentation;
- misuse of Niyo intellectual property;
- unauthorised access or security abuse;
- material payment default where payment is due;
- conduct that substantially disrupts other students or operations.
Where appropriate, Niyo may attempt to resolve issues before termination, particularly where the participant is a minor.
Changes to Services & Terms
Niyo may update programs, features, policies, these Terms or related operational procedures from time to time.
Material changes may be communicated through the website, email, program communication channels or other reasonable methods.
The date shown at the top of this page indicates the most recent version of these Terms.
Continued use of the relevant service after updated Terms become effective may constitute acceptance of those updated Terms where permitted by applicable law.
Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections or other rights that apply under law.
The parties should first attempt in good faith to resolve a dispute through direct communication.
Subject to applicable law, disputes that cannot be resolved amicably will be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts at: [City, State, India] .
